This is Week 3 of Start & Keep Sewing, where you will learn to read and cut patterns, understand sewing concepts like fabric grain, basting, marking, proper measurement and fitting, and much more! This session has started and is in week 3, but another session will begin shortly after this one has ended. Classes meet once per week for 2 hours. There are 4 class days available. When you register, select one of the available class days.
Students will have the opportunity to work on projects under the supervision of a qualified instructor.
Fee is $80 for the four-week class.
Supplies needed to bring to class:

CHOOSE YOUR SIZE BASED ON YOUR HIP MEASUREMENT, NOT YOUR CLOTHING SIZE
*Patterns are available at Joanns, WalMart, Amazon, or the Simplicity or McCalls website.
2. Purchase Fabric and Notions:
3 yards of 45" wide (or wider) cotton or cotton blend woven fabric. PREWASH and PRESS FABRIC BEFORE CLASS. Fabrics can be purchased at Joanns, Vogue Fabrics, LZ's Textile Discount Outlet, or any number of online retailers.

Skill Details:
All skill levels are welcome to register for this class. The class can be repeated. As your skill level increases, you are welcome to repeat the class and choose more complex patterns to sew. Show the chosen pattern to the instructor (Nancy D) so she can provide information on suitable fabrics, etc for your new project.
