This is Week 6 (the final week) of Start & Keep Sewing, where you will learn to read and cut patterns, understand sewing concepts like fabric grain, basting, marking, proper measurement and fitting, and much more! This session has started and is in week 6, but another session will begin shortly. Classes meet once per week for 2 hours. There are 5 class days available. When you register, select one of the available class days.
Students will have the opportunity to work on projects under the supervision of a qualified instructor.
Fee is $90 for the six-week class.

Unisex Pants - Simplicity 8022 Sizes XS - XL and childs/teen XS_L
Plus size pants - McCall's 6970 Sizes: 18-32
CHOOSE YOUR SIZE BASED ON YOUR HIP MEASUREMENT, NOT YOUR CLOTHING SIZE
*Patterns are available at Joanns, WalMart, Amazon, or the Simplicity or McCalls website.
2. Purchase Fabric and Notions:
3 yards of 45" wide (or wider) cotton or cotton blend fabric. PREWASH and PRESS FABRIC BEFORE CLASS. Fabrics can be purchased at Joanns, Vogue Fabrics, LZ's Textile Discount Outlet, or any number of online retailers.
7" all-purpose zipper (needed only for skirt pattern)
Scissors for fabric
Tracing paper and wheel
